Jean Clement along with La
Table de Cana, Gennevilliers, France has been supporting
our computer centre in Calcutta through Uddami since 2004. La Table
de Cana is different
from most catering companies - the French call it an entreprise
d'insertion, a business that helps the long-time unemployed
get "inserted" back into the labor market.

100 Friends,
founded by Marc
Gold, gave us money to buy a new printer in 2002, and
funds for the school and our new library in 2003. Since then he
has helped us out each year with funds that we use for individual
student needs. Every year Marc travels for two months throughout
Asia. With money donated
by his
friends
he looks for and is able to help individuals and small organisations
who need help.

Uddami started out in 1999 using the Happy Computers curriculum, based in the UK. Using this curriculm as a guide we developed our own Uddami curriculum. We would like to thank them for their help and guidance.

First California Press (through the generosity
of Pat Donahue) gave us seed money

exist.
